Recent Random Fun

Daniel jumped in Adam's crib and made him so happy!
Adam's cool new ride
Adam on his horsey at Grandpa and Grandma's house...he LOVES chasing Grandpa around the house
(I'm pretty positive both have equal amounts of fun!)
 Horsin' around with Daddy
Crashing onto the couch with lots of laughs
Big brother Daniel offers a ride
Brotherly love.  Adam insists his towel is wrapped around him just like Daniel's.  And he won't let me carry him anymore out of the bath.  He insists on walking like a little man.
Awww.  I know it won't be long before he's not in his crib anymore and it's just so sweet to stand there and watch him sleep so comfortably on his PillowPet.
Fun at the park with Auntie Tisha
Bounce house fun. Daniel was a very good big brother and watched out for Adam.
Are you coming with me, Mom?
Superstar Daniel
Adam loves hanging out in the dugout with the big guys
 Brothers on Easter
Adam thought it was pretty cool that his Daddy outlined his body in chalk
 Daniel's turn
Daniel stood up and immediately said, "Why is my head so small?"  Jason replied, "because that is what size it is!"  Made us crack up.
He wasn't happy so he started adding hair.

From Turkey to Bunny

I cannot believe it has been so long since I've been on here. Don't even know where to start. All I know is that it is going to be one very long post and not as detailed as I'd like. I skipped blogging about Christmas and now it's already Easter. I'm bummed. Where's the rewind button so I can re-live what I didn't blog about? I swear time keeps going by faster and faster. I'm going to do a quick recap of old stuff to current stuff hopefully to motivate me to keep up on this!
December 2010

Daniel's drawings for Santa. I thought it was so darn cute how he spelt "frum" that I was relucant to tell him the correct spelling.

Family Christmas Photo
This year's big hits were: Daniel's DS, Adam's first scooter, and both of the kids got Pillow Pets which they still sleep with every night.

April 2011

Family Fun in the snow. It was a great day. We had to beg Daniel to come down the mountain for a picture. We bought a sled on our way but Daniel was more interested in just hiking to the top of this huge mountain and sliding down on his rear.
Adam had a blast sliding down the smaller hills on his momma's lap. :)

Adam turned TWO!

Party Day...

Mom and Dad love you ADAM! It has been amazing watching you grow. You are such a sweet and loving boy.

Turkey Week 2010

What a great week this has been...so much to be thankful for. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving gathering at Nana and Papa Fred's house last Saturday and stuffed ourselves full of delicious food and lots of laughs. After two short days of work, we ventured out on Wednesday with the trailer in tow to Jackson. YES, camping in November! We had a great day, a challenging night (more on that later), but woke up on Thanksgiving Day ready to make the drive back home to Sacramento to celebrate another turkey day at Mom and Dad's. Another great day of stuffing ourselves full with great food and lots of family time. Spent the night at home, then drove back up to Jackson Friday morning, Starbucks in hand. It was great to be able to jump out of the car and have everything already set up. There's nothing like camping in November...

Chilly - temperatures in the low 20's to low 40's

Challenging - the first night we were here, we forgot Adam's pack n' play. Tried to put the kids to sleep on our bed...Daniel kept yelling that Adam was waking him up. Finally it was quiet. A while later Jay and I decided to tip toe in the room and move the kids to the couch. We slide open the door and wallah, Daniel's sleeping...Adam's reading a book! We knew there was no way he'd willingly be transfered to the couch, awake, so we decided to let him sleep in our bed. He was all giggles and so excited to sleep in between mom and dad. Mom and Dad were all giggles at first too...until the shifting came. Laying on our heads. The horizontal position. The backwards position. Jay eventually decided to share the couch with Daniel which led to Daniel falling out of bed. We both feel like we were awake all night. Good thing we were going home the next day and could bring the pack n' play back.

Rainy - embraced a day of rain...

A Time to Try Something New - Jason and Daniel went swimming and hot tubbin' in the rain and had a blast

Beautiful - trees are colorful, gorgeous views and beautiful sunsets. Christmas lights line the rooftops of many RV's and the clubhouse.

Relaxing - a cozy warm trailer. Magazines. Books. Online Christmas shopping. Naps. Time to blog!

Exciting - night walks with flashlights

Some adult time - Nana and Papa Fred watched the kids while Jay and I spent some time gambling at the casino. My big win...put in $10, won $20 and cashed out! Not a big gambler. :)

Delicious food - started a week ago today, and hasn't stopped

Just plain 'ol fun - loving the fun that we have as a family while camping. Bike rides, walks, playing ball, just hanging out. No worries, no stress, just lots of memories (and lots of pictures to capture the memories).

Monster's Inc Artwork

Daniel's portrait of Sully and Mike from Monster's Inc.
The scary part is that Daniel knows almost every single word in the movie. Plus it's the only movie that keeps Adam's attention during his breathing treatments, so we've been watching at least the first 25 minutes everyday! Adam now mimics the monsters too!

Trick-or-Treat 2010

Halloween 2010! I think Daniel's excitement this year topped any other year! And Adam luckily loved his costume and quickly caught on what it meant to go trick-or-treating. As soon as he saw candy drop into his tote, you could see his little eyes light up!
These two guys were so excited to go trick-or-treating...

The Halloween troop....

AND...we're off...

Adam: "Hey, wait for me brother!" Snow White was very patient and kind...

Love the backside of this little dragon...just couldn't get enough pictures of his puffy behind...

Daniel's saying of the night: "This is SO AWESOME...this is the BEST Halloween ever!"

The aftermath...ohhhhh boy!
